Locals in Lymington attended Ear Clinic's charity day. They were welcomed from far and wide on the 6th April 2019, as the region's top clinic held its second Super Saturday!
With a reduced price for the treatment of excessive earwax, the day's takings were donated to The Police Treatment Centres. Staff worked throughout the day without pay until 6pm and were delighted to raise a total of £616!

Marie Jensen (pictured above right) welcomed the opportunity to support both local people with reduced prices on the day, as well as a UK registered charity. The Police Treatment Centres support the mental and physical health of police officers, which is a very demanding role and one that requires support from communities across the UK.

Having supported local charity, Oakhaven Hospice Trust in December 2018, the first beneficiary for 2019 will be a national charity.
We very proud to name The Police Treatment Centres as the beneficiary. They are a registered charity which provides treatment and support, including intensive, police-specific, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, for injured and ill police officers and retired officers.
Police officers are very often the first responders to serious accidents and dangerous incidents, dealing with death, distress and aggression. "They have to see and hear things that other members of the public would simply not be able to cope with" (- Martis Media/Police Oracle). The Police Treatment Centres provide police specific treatment for any on or off duty injury. Whether it is a physical injury, or stress, depression, anxiety related, treatment is provided to help them recover and aid their return back to work.
All revenue taken on the 6th April, will be donated to the The Police Treatment Centres. For more information about their important work, please click here.

Police Roll of Honour Trust - Gant of Royal Charter
In recognition of the Trust's work and it's status as the official source of the United Kingdom's Police Roll of Honour, the Trust was honoured to be granted a Royal Charter by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Charter was affixed with the Great Seal and became a legal document and thus incorporated the Trust in March 2018.
We were delighted to attend the celebration of the award of Royal Charter and share in the recognition the Royal Charter brings. As long-term supporters of the charity, we admire the efforts of the team under the leadership of Chair Sidney MacKay.
